Forecast Discussion: The Brazos Valley welcomed some much needed rain when Edouard made landfall yesterday. As the depression now moves off towards the DFW area, our major rain chances will also end. However, there is still a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms tomorrow with the heating of the day. This will also keep temperatures in the mid to upper 90s instead of the triple digits like we’ve been seeing for the past couple of weeks. Overnight lows will be in the mid 70s and highs will be in the mid to upper 90s through the weekend. Another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible by Saturday as a weak cold front will push through portions of north Texas.
