Wednesday: Sunny skies with a high of 71. Light S winds around 5 mph.

Wednesday night: Clear skies with a low of 49. SE winds around 5 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny skies with a high of 73. SE winds 5-15 mph.

The surface high currently situated over SE Texas means another day of sunny skies for the Brazos Valley. However, changes are in store over the next couple days. Cloud cover will increase tomorrow as the high drifts off to the east and SE flow brings warmer, moist air into the area. A low pressure system will develop along the Texas coast late Thursday/early Friday. Rain is expected Thursday night through Friday night as the system tracks east along the Gulf Coast. Luckily, the skies should clear out in time for the weekend.
