Discussion- A surface low pressure located just north of the region will begin to slide over the Rio Grande Valley on early Wednesday increasing the flow of moisture into the Brazos Valley Region. The bulk of the moisture will be due to a tropical wave located in the Gulf of Mexico, significantly increasing precipitation chances for much of southeast Texas. The heaviest rainfall can be expected late Wednesday and Thursday with the potential for some heavy downpours. Temperatures on Wednesday will remain in the lower 90s, and on Wednesday we’ll have high temperatures topping out in the upper 80s! Expect partial clearing by Friday night as a ridge of high pressure will begin to¬† build in over southeast Texas. High temperatures will climb back into the mid 90s by Friday.
