The frontal boundary that has brought showers and thunderstorms to south central Texas should gradually wash out tonight into Wednesday. A more defined onshore flow will prevail for the remainder of the week. Sea-breeze and daytime heating should up some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon. However, moisture levels will be higher towards the coast, so the chance of rain in our neck of the woods doesn’t look promising for the time being. The good news, though, is that moisture levels will continue to increase during the latter half of the work week and into next week thanks to southeasterly flow deepening throughout the atmosphere, so we should expect some scattered shower activity in the Brazos Valley later in the week.
