Tonight – Partly cloudy. Low 68. Winds SE 10 mph.

Tuesday – Mostly cloudy, 40% chance of thunderstorms. High 86. Winds SE 10 mph.

Tuesday night – Mostly cloudy, 20% chance of thunderstorms. Low 70. Winds E 5 mph.

Wednesday – Cloudy, 50% chance of thunderstorms. High 84, winds E 5 mph.

Discussion – Columbus would have enjoyed the relatively clear skies today, but probably not the humidity.  Fortunately for us in the New World…er, Brazos Valley, we are expecting an inverted trough on Wednesday that will cool us off with showers and thunderstorms, and overall drop temperatures a couple of degrees in time for the weekend.  The trough could bring a fairly heavy amount of rainfall Wednesday and Thursday. Expect highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid to upper 50s by Saturday.  High pressure should help to clear things out after all the rain has passed.
