Local Weather Forecast

Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 6:24am by Rita Matos

Today: Afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High of 80. Winds from the east at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms. Low of 66. Winds from the north at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: 40% chance of morning showers and thunderstorms. High 72. Winds from the north at 5 mph.

Discussion: A cold front will be pushing through Southeast Texas throughout the day today, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms. We may see heavy rain with some of these storms. We can expect these showers to pop up mainly in the afternoon and into the evening. We will see the rain continue until tomorrow morning, and we should see mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day on Thursday. We will see a high temperature in the low 80s today and a low in the mid 60s tonight. Once the front passes through the area, we will see high temperatures in the 70s for the rest of the week, with the low temperatures dropping into the 50s.
