Cold temperatures are expected again tonight in the wake of the cold front that moved through yesterday.  However, as the surface high moves off to the east, cloud cover will return to the area starting late tonight and continuing through Saturday.  Warmer temperatures and rain chances enter the forecast starting early Sunday.  Another weak cold front should move through Brazos Valley on Monday.

Discussion: A cold front is on its way and expected to bring colder temperatures to the area. Friday morning is expected to be the coldest yet. Cloud cover will increase through the weekend.

Tomorrow Night: Mostly Cloudy. Low 42. Northerly winds at 10-15 mph.

A cold front will push its way through the Brazos Valley early Friday morning. Highs on Friday will barely hit 60, but these colder conditions are not expected to last very long as temperatures begin to quickly rebound by early next week.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies with a low of 51. Winds from the south at 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies with a high of 75. Winds from the north at 10 mph.

Discussion: High pressure is in place in the Southeastern United States giving us beautiful sunny skies for the next couple of days and into the weekend. Expect to see the daytime highs cool off into the 60s for the weekend, while the overnight temperatures will stay in the high 40s/low 50s.

Discussion - Not much to speak of in terms of this week’s forecast: a ridge of high pressure is helping to keep things sunny and dry.  We’ll see cool temperatures all week, with a gradual warming by Friday.  Expect another slight cooldown this weekend.

Saturday: Sunny skies with a high of 63.  N winds 10-20 mph.

Saturday night: Clear skies with a low of 37.  N winds around 5 mph.

A strong cold front will sweep through the Brazos Valley later today and bring us much cooler temperatures for the weekend.  Strong north winds will pick up behind the front tonight and continue through the day on Saturday.  High temperatures will only reach the mid 60s this weekend, and lows will dip into the upper 30s Saturday and Sunday night.  This cooler, drier weather should last through late next week.

Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy. Low 47. Winds S at 5-10 mph becoming N at 20-25 mph.

Dry conditions are back in store for the Brazos Valley as we head into the weekend. A strong cold and dry airmass will be moving into the area bringing stronger northerly winds and much colder temperatures.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. High of 77. Winds North at 5-10 mph.

Discussion: It should be a rainy day in the Brazos Valley as a low pressure system continues to move through the area today. We will see a slight chance of rain continue into tonight and tomorrow. High temperatures will remain in the high 70s until this system passes through the area. Expect sunnier skies and cooler temperatures as the weekend approaches.

Forecast Discussion:

Expect rainy conditions for the next 24-36 hours as a low pressure system makes its way through the Brazos valley. Severe weather is unlikely with this system, but plenty of rain will fall through tomorrow night.

Discussion- A low pressure system centered in North central Texas will be on the move this afternoon.   With an already unstable atmosphere combined with the low level jet the possibility of a severe thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. However, the severe weather threat should remain off to our north and west. The front, associated with the low pressure system, will push through the Brazos Valley area late tonight, early Wednesday bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms. Wednesday afternoon we should see gradual clearing as the weekend looks to be shaping up nicely.
