We always welcome new volunteers to Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting.  Forecasters are required to be in their sophomore level meteorology classes, however freshmen are encouraged to participate and observe.

Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting shifts include weekday mornings 5:30am-8:15am and weekday afternoons 3:30pm-5:15pm. Volunteers are asked to sign up for one shift per week and are responsible for creating a 2-day forecast for the Bryan-College Station area, writing a brief forecast discussion, announcing the current conditions and forecast on the radio, and recording a podcast.
